Our Dovetail series of events takes the Dovetail joint as a metaphor for the coming together of different artistic mediums and diverse members of our community. When we create and partake in reciprocity, the results can express extraordinary frameworks for stronger, more elegant and more generous ways of being, thinking, and appreciating.

Happening Thursday, May 21, 2026, we will mark the opening of Dream Street, a collaboration between Intersect Arts Center and the Artventures program. Teachers and students bring the book Dream Street by Tricia Elam into the gallery through installation of personal and group art projects from each of the different classes offered this year for Artventures students. You’ll have time to walk through the exhibit, enjoy a showcase of the student’s achievements this year, and enjoy some tasty treats from Chefs Snoop and Denise of Rooted Buds!
